What is H Frame Scaffolding?

What is H Frame Scaffolding? This scaffolding system, in the simplest terms, is a platform used in plastering works on interior wall and facade in construction. The other uses are facade painting, insulation, facade cladding, building and repair of ship.

Another detail to know about what is H Frame Scaffolding is that it consists of vertical, horizontal and diagonal parts. H Frame Scaffolding is a comfortable and reliable system. It is also resistant to buckling by establishing rigidity with the connections. It also has safety areas where you can safely carry loads.

What is H Frame Scaffolding? Where To Used It?

Due its properties, H frame scaffolding ensures that you save a lot of time and labor. The system basically consists of interconnected frames. One H frame is 2 meters high, while the length between two H frames is 2.5 meters. Auxiliary elements are also used in this system:

  • Metal plank
  • Stairs with or without landing
  • Adjustable base jack
  • Adjustable support

Adjustable screws are used to eliminate the elevation difference of inclined floors. Steel working platforms increase the strength and safety of scaffold. Passageways between floors are safe inside scaffolding with some applications such as staircase or access ladder.  Use of scaffolding clamp in jacketing works ensures safety of scaffold and makes easier its application.

Properties of H Frame Scaffolding

The system is manufactured from TS EN 10219-1 certified tubes, 48.3 × 3.0mm frames, the 42 × 2.5mm diagonal elements, and 34 × 2.0mm horizontal elements. Our scaffolding production is made through gas welding robots in accordance with EN ISO 3834-3 welding quality standards.

Working platforms have a carrying capacity of 300kg / m² and are manufactured via Roll-Forming machine. The system is hot dip galvanized according to TS EN 12811-2 standards.

Usage Areas of H Frame Scaffolding

H frame scaffolding can be easily used in the construction of different structures such as:

  • In residences and high-rise buildings
  • In business and shopping centers
  • On subways and underground stations
  • In industrial buildings
  • In energy facilities
  • In hospitals and other healthcare facilities
  • In viaducts and bridge slabs
  • Hydroelectric plant projects

The system is generally preferred for high and thick slabs. It consists of 2 parts which are ledgers and H frame. All parts of the system can be installed with human power.  Gaps of tower are adjusted by calculating slab loads compatible with the project.
