How to become a Scaffolder
There are different ways to become a Scaffolder. You can undertake a course in scaffolding, but you’ll also need to have a High Risk work permit, and Scaffolders working in the construction industry will need a White Card.
- Undertake a course in scaffolding, such as a Certificate III in Scaffolding (CPC30911).
- Become an apprentice or trainee Scaffolder by entering into a formal training contract with an employer.
- Ensure you have a High Risk work permit in order to legally work as a Scaffolder.
